For the first week the product was great. The app worked well and I could see how many times my cat was at the feeder etc. Then it started to go wrong. The trays didn't turn, the door would keep opening and shutting and apparently my cat fed for 29, 678 hrs. I emailed the company. They sent me a list of troubleshooting exercises and said if it didn't work they would exchange the product. So I diligently went through all the procedures with no effect to be told, sorry, go through Amazon.
This would have been ok, however, i purchased this product in the Black Friday sale with a free mat. When I returned it, Amazon took off the cost of the free mat and said I had to purchase it and that I had to reorder the product at the full price. Needless to say I have now purchased a cheaper product with 5 feeding trays which has been .ore reliable
***UPDATE***
Since writing the review I was approached by the company, who were very apologetic about the poor performance of their product and customer service. It seems that the sensor in the side of the opening to the feeding bowl had malfunctioned. They have very kindly sent me a new cat feeder, free of charge and so far it is working perfectly. So thank you Petlibro for going above and beyond.
