Came charged. I immediately used these on my power shovel as we received 3” of snow last night and they worked as planned. Indicator lights worked and seems to be a GRET value for the $.

I purchased these to try as they were half the price of DeWalt batteries. I did not expect them to be of the same quality as my DeWalt batteries, so here is what I have experienced. First they are much lighter than the DeWalt batteries, which I like. Second the connections to the tools are slightly harder, but they work fine. Third from the little I have used them so far they do not seem to last as long as the DeWalt batteries, -lan to time them in my next usage and will update when I have that data. So far they seem worth the price if you are looking for a cheaper alternative. See how long perform in the long term and how long they last.
